Faculty of Physical Therapy – Marco Burnik’s Visit
Within the framework of the cooperation between the Faculty of Physical Therapy at MSA University and Life Medical Consult, the Swiss expert Marco Burnik, an expert in the field of neural rehabilitation, visited MSA university in order to present updates in the field of neural rehabilitation using robotics.
Robotic rehabilitation is one of the newest technologies that fulfill the highest level of treatment. Therefore, the use of robotic rehabilitation systems in the field of rehabilitation can be used on any patient with walking difficulties besides classic rehabilitation procedures which include any movement disabilities, especially in neurological diseases. Also, through robotic rehabilitation, both patients who cannot walk and patients with gait disturbance could benefit from this new technology.
