EDSIC 2026 – Meet the Kings

Through a comparative study of five digital food-delivery platforms operating in Egypt, the exhibition examines the relationship between brand identity and interior architecture, exploring how spatial planning, materiality, colour, lighting, furniture, graphics, and user experience can collectively transform a digital brand identity into a physical environment.

Moving beyond the conventional use of logos and signage, the exhibition investigates how the fundamental characteristics and values of a brand can be embedded within the architectural environment itself. Interior design becomes a medium through which brand identity is physically experienced through movement, atmosphere, materiality, colour, form, and sensory engagement.

Focusing on brands that are widely used in everyday life yet rarely experienced as physical spaces, the exhibition raises a central question: What would such a place look and feel like if it were designed entirely from the brand identity experienced on screen?

The exhibited work traces a design process from brand identity → interpretation → spatial translation → user experience, demonstrating how branding can evolve into an architectural strategy for creating environments that are recognisable, coherent, memorable, and emotionally engaging.

Ultimately, the exhibition presents a shift in perspective: the brand does not simply occupy the space; the brand becomes the space.

The workshop aims to introduce participants to practical approaches for integrating Artificial Intelligence into case-based dental education, with a focus on designing effective clinical cases, enhancing teaching methodologies, and supporting deeper clinical reasoning among students.

Through an applied and interactive learning experience, participants will explore how AI can be incorporated into educational practice to support case development, stimulate critical thinking, and create more engaging and effective learning experiences within dental education.

The workshop will be delivered across two sessions, providing participants with the opportunity to develop practical strategies that can be applied within their own teaching environments and contribute to the continued advancement of innovative dental education.

The workshop will be delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Ezz, Lecturer of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, MSA University.

Designed to provide participants with practical expertise in the rapidly evolving field of plant metabolomics, the workshop will cover key aspects of LC–MS/MS data processing, metabolite annotation, multivariate statistical analysis, and the biological interpretation of metabolomic data. Through an intensive hands-on approach, participants will gain valuable technical skills and practical insights into modern analytical methodologies used in pharmaceutical and natural products research.

This workshop reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy’s ongoing commitment to advancing continuous professional education, supporting scientific research, and equipping participants with cutting-edge knowledge and practical competencies aligned with current developments in pharmaceutical sciences.

The session will be delivered by Dr. Aya Shata, Lecturer of Public Relations at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Nevada, USA. Drawing on her academic and international experience, Dr. Shata will provide valuable insights into the latest developments in Generative AI and its expanding role in higher education, research, and professional practice.

Through this workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges presented by Generative AI, explore its practical applications in teaching and research, and discuss how these technologies are reshaping the future of education and communication.
