In a new milestone that reflects its commitment to applying international best practices, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) has successfully renewed and obtained international management systems certifications (ISO), following a comprehensive annual audit and assessment conducted by international accreditation bodies.

The international certifications obtained by the University include:

✅ ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems.
✅ ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems.
✅ ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

This year witnessed an expansion in the implementation of international quality standards across the University. The renewed international certifications covered the Faculties of Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Biotechnology, in addition to the Bioequivalence Centre.

For the first time, the Faculties of Physical Therapy, Engineering, and Arts & Design were also granted the certifications after successfully fulfilling all required standards, criteria, and specifications.

The international audit team commended the University’s institutional discipline and praised its continuous efforts to enhance its quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety systems. The team also highlighted the efficiency of the applied procedures and continuous improvement mechanisms implemented across the faculties, contributing to the enhancement of the educational and research environment.

This achievement reflects MSA University’s vision to promote a culture of institutional excellence, strengthen governance, and advance education and scientific research in line with the highest international standards, while supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and reinforcing the University’s position locally, regionally, and internationally.

Driven by its firm belief in the importance of investing in youth and sport, and in their role in building individuals and nurturing champions, MSA University has supported foil fencing through a contribution to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This initiative reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to expanding its community partnerships and supporting Egyptian sporting talent.

The contribution was presented during a meeting between Dr. Gohar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Engy Mansour, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of MSA University and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Lebaladna Development Foundation.

During the meeting, the Minister of Youth and Sports commended the important role played by Egyptian institutions in supporting the national sports system. He emphasised that the integration of efforts between the State and various community institutions is essential to the preparation and support of sporting champions, particularly in individual sports, where Egyptian athletes have achieved distinguished accomplishments at both national and international levels.

Through this participation, MSA University reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people, nurture talent, and strengthen the role of sport as a key pillar of sustainable development and the development of generations capable of excellence and competition.

This distinguished recognition reflects Dr. Engy’s exceptional record of leadership in community development. Through the Lebaladna Foundation for Community Development, she has successfully led numerous humanitarian and development initiatives in the fields of education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and support for underprivileged communities, while fostering impactful partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.

The project, which took two full years to complete, transformed the library into a smart library through the comprehensive digitization of its collections, including legal references, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations. This initiative ensures the preservation of this invaluable academic heritage while making it digitally accessible for future generations, supporting legal research, advancing knowledge, and strengthening the pursuit of justice.
