The Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) is proud to announce the success of five graduates from the Class of 2026:

The graduates successfully passed three stages of live interviews and were selected to join a 3–6 month professional training program at Saudi German Hospital.

This achievement came amid strong competition from graduates of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Biotechnology from other universities, with the possibility of employment following the successful completion of the training period.

This success reflects the academic and professional excellence of the Faculty of Biotechnology graduates and their readiness to succeed across diverse career paths and professional fields.

In a special day celebrating excellence and ambition, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) welcomed the top-ranking Egyptian Thanaweya Amma students from across the country for an exclusive visit to explore the University, its academic programmes, faculties, facilities, and the comprehensive educational experience it offers to meet the aspirations of the next generation.

The distinguished students were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Nader El Bokle, President of MSA University, and Dr. Engy Mansour, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Chairperson of Lebaladna Foundation for Development, alongside the University’s faculty deans, who welcomed the students and accompanied them on informative tours of their respective faculties, reflecting the strong sense of community that distinguishes MSA.

In recognition of their exceptional academic achievement, the University awarded the students full scholarships for the entire duration of their undergraduate studies. This reflects MSA’s belief that supporting outstanding minds is a genuine investment in the future of the nation and an important step towards empowering them to pursue their academic journeys and achieve their aspirations.

Throughout their visit, the students experienced university life first-hand, touring the University’s various faculties, specialised laboratories, educational facilities, and sports amenities. They also explored the advanced facilities and resources available to support teaching, learning, and research, as well as the diverse range of student activities and experiences offered by the University.

The visit was more than a tour of the University; it provided an opportunity for direct interaction between Egypt’s top-performing secondary school students, University leadership, and members of the academic community. The students learned more about the various academic programmes and engaged in discussions and enquiries about their prospective fields of study, training opportunities, student activities, and future career prospects.

October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) announces that a very limited number of places remain available at selected faculties for the academic year 2026/2027.

📢 Applications are currently available at the following faculties only:

Faculty of Dentistry
Faculty of Physical Therapy
Faculty of Pharmacy
Faculty of Biotechnology
Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology
Faculty of Arts and Design
Faculty of Management Sciences
Faculty of Mass Communication
Faculty of Languages

The minimum admission percentage starts from 55% for students holding the Egyptian Thanaweya Amma certificate and from 58% for students holding equivalent Arab and foreign high school certificates, subject to the admission requirements applicable to each faculty.

🎓 Two Graduation Certificates

MSA graduates receive two graduation certificates:

An Egyptian degree accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
A British degree awarded through the University’s academic partnership with either the University of Greenwich or the University of Bedfordshire, according to the relevant faculty and programme.

Faculty of Arts & Design and “Agrinatec” Honor Winners of the Food Packaging Design Competition

As part of the cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Arts & Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) and Agrinatech, aimed at strengthening the connection between academic education and industry, Prof. Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Design, and Eng. Mohamed Abdel Karim, CEO and Managing Director of Agrinatech for Processing Industries, honored the winners of the Food Packaging Design Competition.

The competition focused on developing packaging designs for the company’s frozen fruit and vegetable products, representing its first product line intended for the local and international markets and for export.

The competition was held under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty as part of the outcomes of the Packaging Design course within the Visual Design specialization. It was organized and evaluated by an academic committee comprising:

Prof. Dr. Hoda Madkour – Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. Dr. Hany El Said – Academic Supervisor of the Graphic Design and Advertising Arts Department.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Attia – Associate Professor, Graphic Design and Advertising Arts Department, and Academic Supervisor of the Competition.

Over six weeks of intensive work, 12 students competed to develop innovative visual and design solutions for the company’s products. Their projects addressed marketing and technical requirements while meeting the latest international export standards and reflecting the quality and identity of Egyptian products.

This project celebrates Egypt’s cultural and artistic heritage by bringing together diverse forms of puppetry, from Aragoz and shadow theatre to hand, rod, and marionette puppets, to revive and retell Egypt’s folkloric tales and classic operettas that have shaped generations. Through performances and workshops, Folklorette aims to reconnect children and families with the spirit of Egyptian folklore.

“Fusion Eleven” is a cultural festival celebrating the diversity and unity of the BRICS+ nations through art, music, food, and traditions from its eleven member countries. The festival promotes cultural exchange and global connection through creativity. Egypt was chosen as the host country for its unique role as a cultural bridge between Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as its rich heritage in art, history, and tourism.

Project: مطعم عالطبلية By : Salma Wael Hassan

This branding project celebrates Egypt’s culinary culture through a restaurant that showcases the country’s seven regional cuisines. Each day of the week is dedicated to one of the seven regions, featuring a different menu inspired by its local flavors and traditions. The restaurant offers an immersive experience through authentic regional food, music, staff uniforms, and cultural elements. Instead of fixed interior décor, large digital screens transform the space each day, displaying the landscapes, colors, and visual identity of the featured region, creating a dynamic environment that allows guests to experience a different side of Egypt with every visit.

Shoubra Beloula, Egypt’s hidden jasmine village in Gharbiya Governorate, produces nearly 65% of the world’s jasmine oil used by luxury perfume houses, including Dior and Chanel. This city branding project positions the village as the “Jasmine Capital of the World,” promoting global recognition, strengthening cultural identity, encouraging tourism, and empowering local farmers and workers.

7 Gates Festival is a traveling cultural festival that moves across Egypt’s seven regions, celebrating the country’s diverse folklore, music, dance, and traditions. Inspired by the symbolism of seven gates, the festival invites visitors to “enter” different Egyptian cultures, creating a journey of discovery, cultural exchange, and national unity through immersive experiences designed for a new generation.
