This appointment reflects Professor Dr. Fayed’s distinguished academic career and more than 25 years of experience in orthodontics, teaching, research, academic leadership, quality assurance, and institutional development.

The program brought together a group of selected high-achieving students, who participated with the full support of MSA University as part of the Faculty’s commitment to providing distinguished students with valuable professional development opportunities beyond the classroom.

Through an intensive hands-on training experience, participating students developed and practiced a range of fundamental clinical competencies, including:

As part of their summer training, MSA Biotechnology students gained hands-on experience across a range of industrial fields, including:

Royal Enzymes: Industrial fermentation and enzyme production.
Green Meadows: Food manufacturing, quality control, and food safety.
Aqua Stream: Water treatment, purification, and quality monitoring.
El Yosr Group: Grain processing, milling, and ready-to-use product manufacturing.
El Ghazy Dairy: Dairy and cheese production, from raw material reception to packaging.

Through these diverse training experiences, students were able to connect their academic knowledge with real industrial practices, develop practical skills, and gain a clearer understanding of the professional opportunities available within their field.

The day commenced with a series of introductory sessions delivered by faculty members and distinguished alumni, who presented an overview of the biotechnology discipline, its diverse areas of study, and the wide range of career opportunities available to graduates. These sessions provided students with valuable insights into the academic journey and the future prospects of the field.

Recognizing the important role of families in students’ educational decisions, the Faculty also organized dedicated sessions for parents, allowing them to learn more about the academic programs, ask questions, and engage directly with faculty members. These discussions provided a comprehensive understanding of the educational experience offered by the Faculty of Biotechnology at MSA University.

To create an engaging and interactive learning environment, the program featured a variety of activities and competitions that encouraged participation and teamwork. The highlight of the day was the hands-on laboratory experience, where students had the opportunity to conduct scientific experiments under the guidance of faculty members and teaching assistants, giving them a genuine insight into practical biotechnology applications.

The third edition of Experimental Day reflects the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to providing prospective students with an authentic university experience that combines academic orientation, practical learning, and direct interaction with faculty members. Through this initiative, students were encouraged to discover their passion for biotechnology while gaining a clearer understanding of the academic and professional pathways the discipline offers.

The event concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony, recognizing participants for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the day. The closing ceremony reflected the spirit of inspiration, discovery, and achievement that characterized the event, once again highlighting the Faculty of Biotechnology’s dedication to empowering future scientists through experiential learning and meaningful educational opportunities.

Prof. Dr. Ali Bastawessy, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, signed a cooperation protocol with Itech-Pro Egypt, a leading technology consulting and digital transformation company, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Nouh, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Terms of the Cooperation Agreement:

-Itech-Pro Egypt shall organize technical lectures and hands-on workshops delivered by industry experts to enhance students’ practical knowledge and exposure to the latest technology trends.

-The parties shall launch industry-driven student projects, hackathons, and innovation competitions that address real-world business challenges while fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

-Itech-Pro Egypt shall provide structured mentorship opportunities, practical training, and career development pathways to support students’ professional growth and employability.

-The cooperation shall support graduation projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies, bridging academic learning with industry applications.

-The parties shall collaborate on research, innovation initiatives, and joint projects that contribute to the development of technology-driven solutions for industry and society.
