During the visit, students had the opportunity to tour two of Juhayna’s facilities: EgyFood Factory and Al-Dawleya Factory. The trip offered students a comprehensive insight into the stages of food production, quality control procedures, and the advanced technologies employed in modern manufacturing processes.

At EgyFood Factory, students observed the production process of yogurt (zabadi), including preparation, fermentation, and packaging stages. They also learned about the strict hygiene protocols and quality standards implemented to ensure the safety and consistency of the final product.

At Al-Dawleya Factory, students explored the juice production lines, gaining practical knowledge of processing, filling, and packaging using automated systems.

This field trip provided students with valuable exposure to real industrial environments, enhancing their understanding of large-scale production systems, automation technologies, and quality assurance practices within the food industry.

The visit included a formal meeting with Major General Dr. Eng. Khaled Shokry Gheith, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Arab Organization for Industrialization for Chemical Industries and Head of the Human Resources Sector, during which potential areas of cooperation were discussed, particularly in the field of student training and professional development.

The visit was prepared and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Deeb, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environmental Affairs and Community Service and Head of the Accounting Department, Assoc. During the visit, the delegation reviewed the various practical training opportunities offered by the Arab Organization for Industrialization across different specializations, highlighting the potential for meaningful hands-on experiences that align academic learning with real-world applications.

The Faculty of Dentistry at MSA University is one of the leading faculties in providing integrated education and clinical training, comprising more than 420 dental units equipped according to the latest national and international standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality and patient safety.

• The faculty includes comprehensive specialized clinics covering all fields of dentistry, including:

The faculty also includes fully equipped operating rooms for performing surgical procedures under general anesthesia, in accordance with the highest standards of medical safety and infection control.

The faculty adopts an advanced electronic system to organize patient registration and admission, ensuring ease of booking and follow-up, accuracy of medical data, and improved efficiency and quality of the educational and clinical services provided.

In addition, the faculty provides:

Through this integrated system, the Faculty of Dentistry at MSA University seeks to prepare academically and clinically qualified graduates capable of providing outstanding healthcare services and competing strongly in the labor market locally, regionally, and internationally, in affirmation of MSA University’s mission of academic excellence and community service.

Throughout the day, students toured several of the hospital’s specialized departments, gaining first-hand insight into evidence-based clinical practices across multiple disciplines. Key units included:

• Hydrotherapy and Lymphatic Rehabilitation Units, where students observed advanced protocols for edema management and functional recovery.
• Neuro-Rehabilitation Gym, offering exposure to techniques used in motor relearning and neuromuscular re-education.
• Sports Rehabilitation Unit, equipped with the Isokinetic system for performance assessment and rehabilitative conditioning.
• Pediatric Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy Units, highlighting tailored developmental and functional approaches for children with diverse needs.
• Sensory Reduction Units, showcasing therapeutic environments designed to support sensory modulation and behavioral regulation.

In addition to the clinical tour, the visit featured a specialized workshop entitled “Dysphagia from A to Z.”
Delivered by distinguished faculty members from MSA’s Neurology Department, the workshop provided students and Cleopatra Hospitals Group specialists with an in-depth exploration of swallowing disorders, covering assessment frameworks, clinical red flags, management strategies, and interdisciplinary intervention approaches.

The field visit offered a comprehensive, multi-angle perspective on contemporary physiotherapy practice, reinforcing MSA University’s mission to bridge academic excellence with real-world clinical readiness. Through such structured training experiences, the Faculty of Physical Therapy continues to empower its students with the competencies required to excel within a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Professor Salman is a distinguished scholar and leader with over 25 years of expertise in Economics, Financial Management, and academic leadership. Throughout her career, she has made remarkable contributions to education, research, and policy development. With more than 115 published research papers, extensive international recognition, and a proven record in academic leadership, her impact has been felt both locally and globally.

Prior to this appointment, Professor Salman served as Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and as a Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Management Sciences, where she consistently demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the advancement of higher education.

Her new role reflects her continued dedication to enhancing quality standards, accreditation, and institutional development, ensuring that MSA University maintains its distinguished position among leading institutions.

The team is competing with their startup Pollibotics, which aims to revolutionize the agricultural sector by automating farming operations in alignment with the demands of modern technology and sustainable innovation.
