In a grand celebration of innovation and artistic vision, the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) inaugurated the 11th Annual Graduation Projects Exhibition for the academic year 2024\u20132025. The exhibition was held in the presence of Dr. Nawal El Degwi \u2013 Head of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Nader El Bokl \u2013 Acting President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Tarek Saleh \u2013 Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design.<\/p>\n\n

This year\u2019s theme, \u201cReviving the Values and Ethics of Art,\u201d reflected the college\u2019s ongoing mission to promote Egyptian cultural identity and preserve heritage amidst rapid global changes. The projects embodied the university\u2019s alignment with national development plans and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n\n

Graphics & Media Arts Department<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The department presented a wide range of projects that impressed both juries and attendees. The works stood out for their creative diversity, technical precision, and powerful social messages. Each project showcased unique artistic direction, intelligent use of digital tools, and impactful advertising strategies. These projects represented the culmination of a rigorous academic journey and positioned graduates as ready contributors to the advertising and design industries with fresh perspectives and societal impact.<\/p>\n\n

Fashion Design Department: \u201cMicroscopic Wonders and Invisible Fashion\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Graduation projects this year explored how fashion can transform perceptions and interactions with the world. Inspired by the microscopic universe, students designed garments that merge beauty, technology, and sustainability\u2014bringing invisible elements to life. The designs aligned with the global trends of Spring\/Summer 2025 and revealed forward-thinking fashion narratives rooted in scientific inspiration.<\/p>\n\n

Interior Design Department: \u201cAdaptive Reuse and Functional Transformation\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Projects in this department focused on the creative reuse of existing and historical buildings, redesigning interior spaces for public and commercial use. The work demonstrated advanced knowledge of spatial solutions and environmental consciousness by incorporating sustainable materials and artificial intelligence. Students tackled museum, hospitality, commercial, and administrative space designs, offering solutions that meet modern lifestyle needs.<\/p>\n\n

Cinema & Theatre Design Department<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This year\u2019s projects offered fresh artistic interpretations inspired by Egyptian and global literature. Students presented a diverse range of theatrical performances and cinematic works that highlighted classical and modern set designs. Advanced techniques in lighting, scenography, and visual effects were creatively employed to support compelling narratives. The department\u2019s integration of theory and practice through workshops and hands-on experiences was evident in the technical and artistic proficiency of the final projects.<\/p>\n\n

At the conclusion of the exhibition, the academic and industry juries praised the high standards of creativity, strategic design thinking, and technical execution. The projects were commended for addressing sustainable development issues and for creatively expressing artistic identity with strong ethical messaging\u2014perfectly echoing the exhibition\u2019s overarching theme.<\/p>\n\n

Prof. Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his pride in the accomplishments of the graduating students, highlighting the continuous efforts of faculty members and teaching assistants in guiding students to develop impactful and globally relevant design solutions.<\/p>\n\n

This exhibition marks a milestone in preparing the next generation of artists, designers, and cultural leaders capable of competing and excelling both locally and internationally.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
