The Department of Graphics and Media Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) organized an event and exhibition titled \u201cCrafting Brand Identity Through Sustainable Packaging Design.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The exhibition featured 40 innovative student projects in packaging design, showcasing a variety of approaches, including graphic and structural design, food preservation and waste reduction, reusable and refillable packaging.<\/p>\n\n

The event brought together a group of distinguished speakers who delivered constructive and insightful discussions for our students. Mr. Waleed El Sheshiny and Mr. David Morgan enriched the exchange of ideas, ensuring alignment between the projects and market demands.<\/p>\n\n

Mr. Waleed El Sheshiny, Chief Creative Officer at Nithar Agency in Riyadh, led a session titled \u201cPackaging as a Driving Force for Brand Identity,\u201d highlighting the strategic role of packaging in enhancing brand identity and presenting various local and international case studies from his extensive professional experience.<\/p>\n\n

Moreover, Mr. David Morgan, Senior Brand Designer at Matter Agency and a 2022 graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Design, delivered a lecture titled \u201cPackaging Innovations for Brand Building,\u201d in which he discussed advanced sustainable design solutions and highlighted the design stages from concept to final execution.<\/p>\n\n

The exhibition was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty, under the academic supervision of Professor Dr. Hani El Saeed, and organized and executed by Dr. Ahmed Attia, the instructor of the Packaging Design course, along with the teaching team: Assistant Lecturer Amira Sabry, Teaching Assistants Ahmed Ayman, Dina Gamal, Rowan Hamada, Catherine Shokry, and Sandra Ashraf.<\/p>\n\n

The event concluded with the exhibition \u201cSustainable Packaging Design \u2013 Round Three,\u201d which is part of a series of exhibitions reflecting the department\u2019s commitment to fostering collaboration between academia and industry to address contemporary challenges in sustainable packaging design. This confirms the importance of bridging academic education with the job market, enabling students to provide creative solutions that meet real-world needs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
