As part of the graduation project for fourth-year students at the Faculty of Mass Communication, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly hosted a powerful on-campus event titled \u201cSukoon,\u201d in fruitful collaboration with the \u201cAyadi Misr\u201d initiative from Fayoum Governorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the supervision of Dr. Rania Shaaban and Ms. Rana Rashad, the event was organized by students Mirna Hesham, Engy Gamal, Hoda Gamal, and Jana Yasser. The campaign tackled a critical and often overlooked issue: burnout among women, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and emphasizing that mental health is a vital component of women’s overall wellness and quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The “Ayadi Misr” initiative enriched the event by showcasing a unique exhibition of handmade products created by women from Fayoum who have overcome psychological hardships. Through arts and crafts, these women found a channel for self-expression and emotional healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This collaboration stood as a shining example of meaningful engagement that supports the psychological and professional empowerment of women. It also reflected the core message of the “Sukoon” campaign \u2014 that holistic empowerment is the cornerstone for restoring a woman\u2019s emotional and social balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This joint initiative marks a pioneering step toward raising public awareness of women\u2019s mental health challenges while promoting creative expression as a pathway to healing and recovery.
