In the framework of the cooperation and contribution of the October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) in the development of the capacity and spreading of knowledge between Arab and regional universities, Dr. Nawal El-Dagwi, head of the Board of Trustees of the University hosted a delegation from the Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to attend a workshop in architecture engineering entitled \u201cSocial and Cultural Spaces in Historic Areas” under the supervision of Prof. Nahed Sobhi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Hisham Aref, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Head of Architectural Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Aida Nair, A lecturer at the university of Effat Where the session was held for 3 days:<\/strong> 1. On Friday, 15 February 2019,<\/strong> a field\u2019s visit to the site of the proposed project for the workshop in Cairo.
2 – On Saturday, 16 February,<\/strong> a number of lectures were held for students and students to discuss the project sufficiently and then to start work in groups of students of the two universities.
3- On Sunday, February 17,<\/strong> the proposals submitted by the students of the two universities were delivered and the final lectures were delivered and certificates were handed to all the participants in the course, students, faculty members and associate members. The course ended with the addition of a lot to all those who participated in the exchange of information and cultures between the students of the two universities and members of the teaching staff as well. The delegation of Effat University visited and inspected the buildings and the expansion of the university. They expressed their admiration for the university buildings and the future vision of the university development. At the end of the course, Dr. Nawal Al-Degwi was thanked for her hospitality and the delegation is hoping to continue in cooperating and holding a series of courses in specialized fields.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
