More than 500 contestants from 50 Faculties of pharmacy around the world participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students: Hady Gamal, Kareem Ahmed, Salma Alaa, and Rawda Ashraf from the fifth year won the award for 2nd best poster in terms of creativity using virtual reality \u201cVR\u201d in their graduation project \u201cTreating Autoimmune Diseases Using Stem Cells\u201d under the supervision of Dr. Sherine Mahmoud, Department of Biochemistry. Students used the stem cells in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis which is a chronic inflammatory disease that can attack other areas of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea of the project and the students\u2019 use of artificial intelligence in its presentation won the admiration of the court committee and praised them in the Emirati newspapers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty of Pharmacy at MSA University congratulates its students for winning the second place in the 27th Dubai International Conference and Exhibition for Pharmaceuticals and Technology (DUPHAT 2022).
