To complement the faculty of Biotechnology continuing role in motivating and fostering students\u2019 scientific abilities and practical hands-on experience, the faculty organized a training in collaboration with the Central Lab in Agricultural Research Centre during the last weeks of the summer break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eighteen enthusiastic students have joined the training which was focused on the use of High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for measuring hormones, vitamins, and other compounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This technique is used in analytical chemistry to separate, identify, and quantify each component in a mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students have set a positive precedent for their peers with such commitment to learning and enhancing their practical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This gained hands-on experience with HPLC will undoubtedly prove invaluable in their future research and studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Faculty of Biotechnology and the Central Lab are to be commended for providing this opportunity to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
