And finally, the Jury selected five winners from the Hackathon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" id=\"system-readmore\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>These talented individuals demonstrated their incredible skills and creativity by working tirelessly on their assigned projects within a 24-hour deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hackathon target 2 smart university challenges<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 2 Challenges of today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academic Advising:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This track is for teams who want to develop a system that helps students to choose the right courses, plan their schedules, and make the most of their time at university. Some possible solutions could include a system that recommends courses based on a student&#8217;s interests and academic goals, a system that helps students to create a personalized schedule, or a system that provides students with access to resources, such as tutoring and career counseling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>suggested features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manual Mode (student is advised by an academic staff member):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Office Hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Virtual Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requesting and Scheduling Appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calendar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notifications\/Reminders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online Approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Escalation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search\/filter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dashboard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Automated Mode (student is advised by AI):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chatbot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommendation System *<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What-if Scenarios *<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>University Fleet Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This track is for teams who want to develop a system that helps universities to track and manage their fleets of vehicles. A possible solution could allow tracking the location and status of vehicles, help to schedule maintenance and repairs, and\/or provide insights into how vehicles are being used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Suggested Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Real-time Tracking of Vehicles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tracking of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fuel Consumption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emissions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Rating System (for drivers\/vehicles by riders)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Automatic Notifications\/Reminders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To riders when the vehicle is approaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To the system admin in case of delays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dashboard (for the System Admin)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geofencing *<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driver Behaviour Analysis *<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition was fierce, and we witnessed some truly remarkable ideas and solutions.
