Master\u2019s degree is contingent upon the successful completion of the following three requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ol><li><strong>Research Requirement<\/strong><ul><li>Each student must complete a research project aligned with the Faculty and Department research plan as a prerequisite for obtaining the Master\u2019s degree.<\/li><li>Students are eligible to register their thesis project after successful completion of the second semester.<\/li><li>A scientific paper derived from the thesis must be published in a peer-reviewed international journal with an impact factor.<\/li><li>The public defense of the thesis may not take place earlier than 12 months following the approval of the Faculty Council for thesis registration.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Coursework Requirement<\/strong><ul><li>Each program comprises a defined set of courses, with a minimum requirement of <strong>80 credit hours<\/strong> over six semesters.<\/li><li>The maximum number of credit hours that a student may register in any Fall or Spring semester is <strong>21 credit hours<\/strong>.<\/li><li>All courses must be successfully completed in order to qualify for the award of the Master\u2019s degree.<\/li><li>The courses are designed in alignment with the selected internal (NARS)\/external reference standards (benchmarking) of the program.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Practical Training and Scientific Activities Requirement<\/strong><ul><li>Practical training and scientific activities constitute an integral component of the Master\u2019s degree.<\/li><li>Each Department is responsible for preparing its training program and assigning credit hours to each activity.<\/li><li>A minimum threshold for each activity is established to ensure the achievement of the intended learning outcomes of the various study programs.<\/li><li>Students must document all training activities in a <strong>Logbook<\/strong>, which is verified and approved by the Head of Department and the Faculty Administration.<\/li><li>Students will not be permitted to sit for examinations until they have fulfilled the minimum required practical
