Marketing is now becoming the back-bone of successful companies and marketers are taking leading roles in local, international and multinational corporations. Differentiation and creating a competitive edge are the essence for survival in business now a-days. As such, this relatively new discipline of knowledge is becoming more and more important in our present world, since the marketing role in a business is such a vital component. Thus there is growing interest and continuous need for marketing and marketers.<\/p><p>Marketing is now an essential area in practically all aspects of life starting from self- marketing to marketing products, services, persons, ideas, and events. In addition there is an increasing demand now for social marketing and marketing for non-profit making organizations. Finally, there are several new branches of marketing that are gaining a foothold in our today\u2019s Egypt, as political marketing, sports marketing and destination marketing which can result in increasing the gross domestic product and in lowering unemployment rate and help in achieving the required economic development for our country.<\/p><p>Marketing is also a growing concern for entrepreneurship which is a main pillar of economic development, it was reported that the most common reason for entrepreneurs&#8217; failure is not a technical one that is related to their products&#8217; functionality, but revolves around their marketing activities, thus, marketing is a main determinant of business successful performance. Marketers and marketing managers have to be equipped with the latest trends in the field and have to develop the skills of self- learning, which our course of MIB offers, as our graduates of MIB will face a constantly changing environment full of competition, they will require to constantly update their inputs and transfer their pervious knowledge and skills to face the ever-changing external and internal environmental conditions.<\/p><p>The MIB course also exposes the students to the international component of business through studying international business and international marketing and international finance which prepares the graduate to deal with international aspects like cultural differences and diversity which provides students with an edge that allows them to work in multinational corporations.<\/p><p>Our course of MIB offers not only the latest of theory in this realm but also stresses employability skills where practical applications, projects and real life case studies are used to enhance the student\u2019s abilities in all areas of marketing starting from marketing research which is the most dependent upon tool for making sound managerial decisions to all the elements of the marketing mix (4Ps), product, pricing, place (distribution) and promotion. The course includes a graduation project. Graduation projects usually include empirical researches on various industries and organizations of Egypt to provide students with transferable skills required to make diagnostic studies, defining research problem, setting the objectives and carrying out field work of data collection and analysing the results using the appropriate techniques in order to provide solid recommendations for problems facing the local industries and organizations<\/p><p>The MIB team of highly qualified staff members deliver this course using a student \u2013 centred approach in a highly interactive way depending on in \u2013 class activities and flipped classes that encourage constructive class discussions and allow the students to build up on their previous knowledge.
