في هذه المحاضرة، سيأخذ الدكتور أحمد فرج الطلاب في رحلة شيقة إلى عالم علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء. وستتناول الجلسة مجموعة واسعة من الموضوعات، تشمل تاريخ استكشاف الفضاء، وأهمية تقنيات الفضاء، وكيفية توظيفها في مختلف جوانب الحياة الحديثة. كما سيتعرف الطلاب على البعثات الفضائية، والأنظمة الفرعية للأقمار الصناعية، وأنواع الأقمار الصناعية المختلفة، ومداراتها، ومساراتها الأرضية ومناطق تغطيتها، بالإضافة إلى مراحل إطلاق الأقمار الصناعية إلى الفضاء.

كما ستسلط المحاضرة الضوء على دور مصر في قطاع الفضاء، وتستعرض الفرص المستقبلية المتاحة للطلاب الراغبين في بناء مسيرة مهنية في صناعة الفضاء، التي تشهد نموًا متسارعًا على المستوى العالمي.

Overview of the Session:

This session is designed to connect academic foundations with practical software quality practices adopted in modern R&D environments. While students gain strong theoretical understanding of software engineering concepts, there remains a significant gap regarding how real organizations ensure product quality, manage processes, and mature their development lifecycle.

The talk will provide practical insights into industry-level quality assurance, ASPICE-aligned processes, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven monitoring techniques that shape today’s software projects.

Eng. Ahmed Yousry is a performance-driven engineer with proven achievements in elevating software development maturity and operational excellence. He has led multiple process improvement initiatives that supported projects in achieving ASPICE compliance (SUP.8 & SUP.9), while ensuring alignment between customer requirements, supplier capabilities, and internal technical teams.

His expertise spans usability, exploratory, and performance testing of web applications, supported by strong analytical capabilities in tracking project velocity and generating dynamic reports that enhance decision-making. Eng. Ahmed’s experience bridges the critical gap between customer expectations and engineering execution, ensuring efficient software requirements management and timely, high-quality deliveries.

Eng. Mohamed Elsherif brings over 15 years of experience developing data-driven SaaS platforms, leading multidisciplinary teams, and designing research-based decision frameworks applied across key sectors including telecom, government, banking, and e-commerce throughout the MENA region. He is widely recognized for transforming complex digital data into actionable product strategies and aligning product, engineering, and customer-experience teams to deliver scalable, market-ready solutions.

This session aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and the practical realities of product development. While senior students are well equipped with programming fundamentals and core computing concepts, many still lack insight into how companies actually research, design, build, and scale real SaaS products in competitive markets.
