The Cell and Pharmacogene Scientific Day
The Biochemistry Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences (MSA University) was honored to present level 3 students’ research model maquettes and posters representing the molecular mechanisms of action of the newly emerging FDA-approved therapeutics such as immunotherapies, gene therapies, and RNA-based therapeutics.
The students showed a remarkable performance at the “Cell and Pharmacogene Scientific Day” and showed outstanding skills in presenting their projects to spread awareness of the significance and power of gene therapy in the treatment of different inherited and critical diseases such as spinal muscular atrophy, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, myeloma and different types of cancer.
This scientific day is following the vision and beliefs of MSA University in alignment with the SDGs to achieve promising future healthcare solutions and meet the global standards of the era of personalized medicine.
