In a thrilling and closely contested match, the MSA team defeated Al Salam University, ensuring their official promotion to Level B in the upcoming season.

The match was filled with energy, excitement, and a strong competitive spirit from both sides. The MSA team delivered an outstanding performance in their debut game, showcasing their determination, teamwork, and skill.

The match concluded with a thrilling 5–4 victory for MSA, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd of students who filled the stands with encouragement and school spirit.

October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) is happy to conclude the annual MSA Staff Football tournament organized and supervised by the MSA University’s Football Academy.

In an exceptional sports and entertainment atmosphere, the winning departments and faculties in this year’s Employee Football Championship were honored, with unprecedented participation from 15 teams and nearly 120 male and female employees representing various university departments and faculties.

For the first time in this edition, female participation was included, with teams from the Faculty of Arts & Design and the Faculty of Physical Therapy.

The results of the Men’s League were as follows:

The 19th MSA University Championship for International Schools

October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) University proudly hosted the 19th edition of its annual Championship for International Schools, marking two action-packed weeks of exceptional athleticism and camaraderie. The event, held at the university’s state-of-the-art Olympic sports complex, brought together over 4,700 students from grades 10, 11, and 12, representing 93 schools across Egypt.

First Week Highlights (November 10–14, 2024)
The first phase of the championship witnessed intense competition among more than 2,100 students from 48 schools. The sports complex buzzed with energy as students competed in football, basketball, and volleyball.

Championship Shield Winner: “Al Hoda International School” emerged victorious, earning the shield for the highest medal count.

Second Week Highlights (November 17–21, 2024)
The second phase welcomed another 2,600 students from 45 schools, continuing the championship’s legacy of excellence. The games were as thrilling as ever, with participants showcasing exceptional skills and sportsmanship.

Championship Shield Winner: “Port Said International School” from Port Said took the championship shield, while “Royal International School” secured the second place title.
The championship received media coverage from Nile Sport Channel, amplifying its prestige.
The honored presence of Prof. Dr. Soha Raafat, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, added to the event’s significance.

Professional referees from the Egyptian Football Association ensured fair play and upheld the championship’s high standards.

Across both weeks, the championship provided students with an unparalleled platform to showcase their talents, build character, and foster a spirit of healthy competition.

Field Trip to ‘Forever is Now’ Exhibition

The students from the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) had a remarkable opportunity to participate in a field trip to the international exhibition “Forever is Now”.

This exhibition provided a unique platform for exploring the connection between Egypt’s ancient heritage and contemporary art, featuring site-specific installations at iconic locations such as the Pyramids of Giza.

The exhibition fosters engagement with modern interpretations of Egypt’s cultural history and serves as an educational platform, enabling students to learn about diverse contemporary artistic techniques and the harmonious blending of tradition with innovation. This experience inspires them to expand their creative horizons.

Educational Objectives:
The primary learning goals of the field trip were:

–Cultural Awareness: To understand how modern artists reinterpret Egypt’s ancient monuments through contemporary art.

–Artistic Exploration: To observe and reflect on innovative artistic techniques and installations.

–Inspiration for Creative Work: To inspire students to think creatively and push the boundaries of their own artistic practice.

Activities During the Field Trip

Our students were guided through the display, offering them the opportunity to interact with the artworks and explore their contexts. The professor discussed the key concepts behind each piece, encouraging students to take notes and engage in discussions with their peers about the significance and themes of the works.

This experience has undoubtedly expanded their creative horizons, inspiring them to think beyond the conventional.

Dr. Menan Aliy El-Deen participation at a Prestigious U.S. Program

October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA University) proudly announcing that Dr. Menan Aliy El-Deen Mohamed El-Mahdy, our outstanding Orthopedics lecturer at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, has been selected by The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and the US to participate in the 2024 STEM and Soccer “Sports Visitor” Program that took place at July 27th till August 10th 2024 in Boston, Massachusetts, New York City.

Dr. El-Mahdy had the opportunity to explore American culture besides indulging in STEM education training, leadership matters together with cultural outings and sports events such as a visit to Columbia University among other prestigious universities like MIT & Harvard.

Extending our warmest congratulations to Dr. El-Mahdy on this remarkable achievement wishing her great success in her career.
