Microbiology in practical life
The Faculty of pharmacy and the Microbiology department have conducted the first session of the annual department workshops under the title of “Microbiology in practical life”.
The session was delivered by one of the best MSA alumni Dr. Mostafa Ibrahim, a former Microbiologist at GSK and current Microbiologist at AstraZeneca. The session included both theoretical and practical aspects. Moreover, students took a complete overview of a microbiologist’s daily tasks at international establishments besides different microbiological techniques used there.
This session is considered as first step in the microbiology department’s workshop as there going to be another session next week by Dr. Mohamed Badr, a microbiology lab sector head.
Finally, the distinguished students who interacted through these sessions will have the opportunity to visit EVA Pharma microbiology lab as a field trip.
