A field trip to Orion Company for Civil and Architecture Students

The Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) organized a field trip to Orion Company for Civil and Architecture Students.

The visit took place at the Selena Compound, located in Sheikh Zayed, Giza, along Waslet Dahshour Road. During the trip, students had the opportunity to observe several under-construction residential buildings. They were able to examine key structural elements, including reinforced concrete components and steel reinforcement details.

Our students gained hands-on insight into the implementation of various reinforced concrete elements, such as isolated footings, columns, beams, and different types of slabs.

The field trip provided valuable real-world exposure to construction techniques and reinforced the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom.
