Faculty of Mass Communication Hosts Engaging Session on Documentary Trends with Filmmaker Mai Ezzat

The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) witnessed an engaging session attended by staff from various departments, featuring an open discussion on the latest trends and types of documentaries, led by the talented Mai Ezzat.

Mai Ezzat is a documentary filmmaker and executive producer with an MA in Filmmaking from Goldsmiths, University of London. She previously worked as a senior producer on Yahdoth Fe Masr on MBC MASR, and as a producer with Al Jazeera in Doha. Her professional experience spans both documentary and journalistic content, with her work featured on platforms such as France 24, DW, Le Monde, and Shahid, covering a range of formats from news features to entertainment programming.

Her session was a rich exchange of ideas that inspired our community and sparked new perspectives on the power of storytelling.
