Scientific day to raise awareness of osteoporosis

The faculty Physical therapy organized a scientific day to raise awareness of osteoporosis, coinciding with the International Day of Osteoporosis, in the presence of a number of staff members and the teaching assistants of the different faculties, and in the presence of a number of university students and some employees, in order to introduce the disease and ways to detect and diagnose it and focus on The role of physical therapy in treating osteoporosis which help to decrease disability and increase personal productivity and wellness in addition to improving quality of life in addition to focusing on postmenopausal woman’s health and raising awareness of appropriate nutrition for this disease group and some important and basic tips to avoid complications.
